Project 12 Vehicles and Driving

Treat the city as a traffic board — spawn, steer, chase, and park without inventing a fake car catalog.

Vehicles and Driving

Players search “Project 12 cars”, vehicles, and driving as soon as the first chase starts. Project 12 is a Roblox open-world Action / city RP from Cinnamon X (CinnamonSoftware), live since December 2, 2025, online multiplayer only. Official art and in-game streets clearly show driveable traffic — including a garbage truck and a police SUV with lights in the public gallery used on this wiki — but Cinnamon X has not published a named catalog or Trello of every spawn. This page teaches driving habits you can re-test after the 28 August 2026 place update, not a stolen list from another city game.

Open the real place: Project 12 on Roblox. Pair this guide with Controls, Arrests and Chases, Map and Locations, and Busy Servers. Servers cap at 40 players; peak concurrent has hit about 6.4k across instances, so intersections get spicy.

What we can confirm (and what we will not invent)

Confirmed from primary signals:

  • The fantasy includes patrol driving and street driving — the place text sells chases, emergencies, and jobs around the city
  • Public screenshots show at least civilian work vehicles (garbage truck) and marked police pursuit vehicles
  • Vehicle enter/exit and chase physics live in the client prompts, not in a wiki spreadsheet
  • VIP / private servers are off (createVipServersAllowed false) — you cannot buy a quiet driving range; see Private Servers

Not confirmed: named sports cars, exact top speeds, fuel systems, garage prices, or a “best car tier.” If chat recites a Brookhaven-style garage, ignore it until your HUD agrees. There is no official Trello (Trello Status).

Minute-zero vehicle hygiene

  1. Spawn, stop, and find the enter vehicle prompt in tonight’s build — do this in a quiet lot, not mid-chase
  2. Note camera feel at city speed before you commit to a pursuit (Controls)
  3. Pick a landmark loop from Map and Locations so you always know where “home” is if you wreck
  4. Decide path: officer driving is presence; civilian driving is routing; crime driving is heat — Path Chooser

Average sessions on Rolimon sit near ~12 minutes. That is not an insult — it is a design hint. Plan one clean drive loop per sit-down, not a two-hour road trip you will abandon.

Police driving (patrol and pursuit)

Officers should treat the car as a moving beat, not a highlight reel:

  • Rectangles beat random highway blasting — same rule as Become Police
  • Lights and speed do not replace target ID; the wrong car is a wasted scene
  • On 40-player servers, civilian job vehicles (including work trucks) are not free pit-maneuver toys — colliding with grinders ruins RP and your rank habits (Police Ranks)
  • Break off when the chase is only chaos; Arrests and Chases still applies with four wheels

If a paid rifle is in your loadout (Weapons, Game Passes), do not drive-by spawn-kill job routes. A car plus an AK is still optional spice, not a license.

Civilian and job driving

Cash loops from Make Money often include travel. Habits:

  • Finish the job cycle before you treat the truck as a stunt prop
  • Work vehicles in screenshots (garbage truck) suggest job identity in traffic — match energy: slow, visible, predictable
  • Learn two turn-in approaches so one blocked intersection does not kill the payout
  • On peak CCU, shorten outdoor routes; Busy Servers already covers density

Criminal driving and heat

If you turn the crime dial (Crime and Heat):

  • Pre-pick an escape landmark, not a vibes alley
  • Do not steal the first shiny car in a crowded spawn if you cannot name an exit
  • Police SUVs in gallery shots mean officers will match your speed fantasy — plan for that
  • After a wreck, reset instead of revenge ramming; tilt driving teaches nothing

Mobile versus keyboard wheels

Roblox is heavily phone. If your thumbs miss enter/exit or camera orbit, read Mobile and PC before you blame “bad cars.” One primary input device per session.

After the 28 Aug 2026 update window

The place Updated timestamp moved to ~28 August 2026. Driving feel, spawn rules, and vehicle prompts can shift without a Trello card. Re-run:

  1. Enter/exit on a parked vehicle
  2. One block at patrol speed
  3. One block at chase speed if traffic skill allows
  4. Only then join dense RP

Scams that pretend to be vehicle unlocks

  • “Free police car gamepass” off-site stores
  • Scripts that auto-drive or spawn admin cars (Scripts Hub — none recommended)
  • Fake codes for “all vehicles” (Codes Hubnone verified as of late Aug 2026)
  • Discord files named car_hub.exe

Buy only inside Roblox if a pass ever lists a vehicle. Today’s store is Molotov / Grenade / AK / AR, not a garage pass.

Vehicles in Project 12 are a skill layer on a dual-path city. Learn prompts, pick a loop, respect 40-player traffic, and refuse fake catalogs. The truck and the police SUV in the gallery are a vibe — your HUD is the manual.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Project 12 players.

What cars does Project 12 have?

The live client is the catalog. Public art shows at least work trucks and marked police SUVs. This wiki will not invent a full garage list.

Is there a vehicle game pass?

The verified store as of late Aug 2026 is Molotov, Grenade, AK, and AR — not a car pack. Confirm on the official Store tab.

Can I practice driving on a private server?

VIP servers are disabled for this experience. Use a quieter public server and a short landmark loop instead.

Why do I keep crashing in chases?

Camera cadence and break-off rules matter more than top speed. Read Controls and Arrests and Chases, then retry one block at a time.

Do codes unlock cars?

No verified promo codes as of late Aug 2026. Treat “all cars” lists as scams until official channels post a string.
