Responding to Emergencies in Project 12

The official place sells emergency response — here is a call-taking framework that survives busy 40-player servers.

Emergencies and Calls

The official Project 12 description tells officers to respond to emergencies. That sentence is why players search 911, calls, dispatch, and how to respond. This guide is the call-taking companion to Become Police and Police Path. Cinnamon X (CinnamonSoftware) released the Roblox city RP on December 2, 2025. Exact marker names can move after the 28 August 2026 update — trust tonight’s prompt, then use this framework.

Play link: Project 12 on Roblox. Max 40 per server. Live CCU snapshots near ~3.9k; all-time peak about 6.4k. Average sit-down ~12 minutes — design calls you can finish, not cinematic sagas (Session Planner).

What an “emergency” is in this game

Until the UI prints a stable CAD, treat an emergency as any interrupt the game or players treat as urgent:

  • On-screen markers, pings, or objective text
  • Radio / chat callouts that match a place you can drive to
  • Scenes you witness: crash, fight, running suspect
  • Player-requested help that is actually in-world (not a phishing DM)

It is not automatically a real 911 radio stack copied from ERLC. Do not invent ten-codes. Trello Status remains no official board.

The four-beat response

1. Hear and name it

Say the beat in one line: location + type. If you cannot name it, you are not responding — you are wandering. Use landmarks from Map and Locations.

2. Arrive alive

Vehicles and Controls matter more than siren ego. Surviving the trip is the first skill. Tunnel vision into a pin while ignoring the intersection is how officers donate their car to a lamp post.

3. Split the scene

On arrival, pick one priority you can finish:

  • Crowd / medical / fire-like chaos (whatever the client actually shows)
  • Suspect still on scene
  • Traffic that will cause a second crash
  • Backup if the stack is bigger than a 40-player intersection can hold

Do not try all four in the first five seconds. Arrests and Chases starts only when a runner exists.

4. Reset to patrol

Finished calls feed rank habits (Police Ranks). Unfinished sightseeing does not. Drive a short rectangle, then take the next beat.

Civilian side of emergencies

You do not have to be police. Civilians can:

  • Leave space for officers instead of parking on the marker
  • Avoid turning a medical-looking scene into a deathmatch because someone bought Weapons
  • Continue jobs on Make Money if the call is not your story
  • Use RP Etiquette so voice/text does not become real-world abuse

Criminals who create fake emergencies to bait officers should expect heat — that is Crime and Heat, not a victim card.

Busy-server call discipline

On packed instances (Busy Servers):

  • Stacking eight officers on one ping leaves the rest of the city unpoliced
  • If two cars already have the scene, hold the beat or take a second marker
  • Chat will invent “all units.” Filter: can you see it, can you finish it, is it the official place?

Tools that do not answer calls

  • Promo codes (Codes Hub — none verified)
  • Executors that auto-teleport to markers (Scripts Hub)
  • Off-site “dispatch apps” that want your password
  • VIP empty cities — private servers are off (Private Servers)

Practice plan (one short session)

Because average playtime is ~12 minutes:

  1. Clock in / law role (How to Play)
  2. One patrol rectangle
  3. Take one call you can narrate after
  4. One reset loop
  5. Stop while you still like the game

Longer nights: repeat the four-beat, do not inflate the saga. Starter Checklist before queue.

After updates

Re-check how calls appear: menu, ping, NPC, chat. Latest Patch and Live Status. The slogan 2000 Likes = Update! is still on the place with ~1910 upVotes — likes are not a dispatch system (Likes Milestone).

Emergencies in Project 12 are interrupt management. Name the beat, arrive, finish one job on scene, return to presence. That loop is the officer fantasy the place actually sold — not a copied radio dictionary.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Project 12 players.

How do I get emergency calls in Project 12?

Use whatever markers, pings, or prompts the live client shows after you take a law role. Names can change after patches — trust the HUD.

Is there a real 911 / CAD system?

Treat the live UI as authority. This wiki will not invent ten-codes or a Trello dispatch board that does not exist.

Should every officer stack one call?

No. On 40-player servers, extra cars should hold a beat or take another marker so the rest of the city stays readable.

Can civilians ignore emergencies?

Yes. Jobs and street play remain valid. Give officers space if you stay to watch.

Do I need a game pass to respond?

No. Molotov, Grenade, AK, and AR are optional combat flavor, not a dispatcher license.
