Project 12 Game Pass Tiers

Rank the four store passes by learning value and Robux efficiency — not fake DPS spreadsheets.

Game Passes Tier List

This Game Passes Tier List ranks the four verified Project 12 store items for new and returning players, not for clip channels. Cinnamon X listed Molotov (90), Grenade (250), AK (999), and AR (999) on the Roblox catalog (late August 2026 check). Public descriptions were empty, so we cannot rank muzzle velocity. We can rank decision quality: cost, optionality, and whether the pass teaches the city or just inflates ego. Read the how-to on Game Passes first, then use this list to pick a spend — or to pick none.

Project 12 is still dual-path city RP: police versus civilian/criminal. A pass that helps a chaotic street night may hurt an officer who has not learned Controls or Arrests and Chases. Tiers below assume you already completed one unpaid hour via Getting Started.

How this list scores

Same questions as the Tier List Hub:

  1. Learning speed — Does it teach the city, or skip the lesson?
  2. Session reliability — Usable on quiet and busy servers (~3.8k live snapshot)?
  3. Tilt risk — Will one bad spray ruin the hour?
  4. Upgrade synergy — Does 90 Robux teach you whether 999 is worth it?
  5. Social friction — Does it require victims who never opted into a war?

S-tier here means best first purchase for most players, not “strongest gun in a patch note we invented.”

S — Molotov (90 Robux)

Why it sits on top: lowest cost in the catalog, created with the same July 2026 store wave as the rifles. It is the only pass that functions as a cheap experiment. If throwable combat is boring in this city, you learned that for 90 instead of 999. Legal money loops on Make Money still matter more than fire flavor.

Who should skip: players who already dislike PvP and only want jobs or calm patrol. Spend zero.

A — Grenade (250 Robux)

Mid-tier spend. Worth considering after Molotov felt good and you still want another throwable identity. Not worth it if you have not finished a job triangle or a patrol rectangle. On packed servers (Busy Servers), explosives raise grief complaints faster than they raise skill.

Buy Grenade as repeatable fun, not as a “complete the throwables set” OCD purchase.

B — AK or AR (999 Robux each)

Same price, unexplained difference. Both are premium. For most players they are B until you personally like gunplay in Project 12. Pick one rifle identity, not both on payday.

Why not S: high Robux, high tilt, high social friction, zero catalog guidance. A rifle does not replace Police Ranks habits or Police Path presence. Officers who cannot finish arrests without a pass are practicing the wrong metric (Police Path Tier List).

When a rifle becomes A for you: after several unpaid sessions you still want that combat loop, you can afford 999, and you will not spawn-dump job grinders. Then AK or AR is a personal A — still not a wiki-wide S.

C — Buying both rifles on night one

Not a catalog item, but a player behavior we rank C / avoid. Two times 999 teaches nothing twice as fast. Confirm live behavior of one gun after a patch (Live Status, place update window ~27 Aug 2026) before doubling down.

F — Off-site “free pass” deals

Not a pass. Account theft. Same bucket as fake Trello boards (Trello Status) and fake codes (Codes Hub).

Re-tier after updates

The current likes line is 2000 Likes = Update! (1000 already passed; ~1773 upVotes in the late Aug check). A content drop can change feel without changing the catalog names. After any patch:

  1. Rejoin fresh
  2. Test the pass you already own in a low-stakes plaza
  3. Only then decide the next Robux
  4. Re-read Game Passes for scam hygiene

Do not reshuffle your identity because a streamer shouted “AR gutted.” Reproduce it.

Pairing with other lists

Suggested spend paths

Zero Robux (recommended default): play. Rank this as S for your wallet.

Small spend: Molotov only → one week of play → decide Grenade.

Committed combat RP: one rifle after unpaid hours feel complete — then stop shopping.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Project 12 players.

What is the best Project 12 game pass?

For most players, Molotov is the best first purchase because it is 90 Robux. Many players should buy nothing.

Is AR better than AK in the tier list?

The catalog does not explain a difference. Both are 999. We rank the rifle *slot*, not a hidden stat sheet.

Should police buy rifles first?

Usually no. Learn patrol, chase, and arrest follow-through unpaid. A pass is flavor, not a promotion.

Will this list change after the 2000 likes update?

If the live feel changes, we re-score using the same five questions. We will not invent patch notes in advance.
